Rules of Presence and Departure for Middle and High School Students

All students must be present in the establishment during the entire duration of their classes, under the responsibility of their teachers. In case of free periods, middle school students should go to the designated study rooms and will be supervised by an education assistant. High school students can go to the study rooms, the library, the House of High School Students, or the cafeteria.

Early Departures and Authorizations
If a student needs to leave early due to a schedule change, they must have properly completed their liaison book (signatures, photo, timetable, authorization of pick-up, etc.).

Upon departure, students must be picked up by the persons listed in their liaison book or by the school bus. If this procedure is not followed, students must go to the study rooms and wait until their normal departure time. Under no circumstances should they be left unattended in the parking lot.

Behavior near the School
Departures should not result in gatherings near the gate or parking lot. Any behavior that damages the school’s image may lead to the withdrawal of the student’s authorization to leave.

Suspension of Authorizations
The Head of School can suspend the authorization for departures for security reasons.

Sanctions
Any unauthorized departure will be recorded as “truancy” and will result in a two-hour detention for each hour missed.

"Security and entry screening"

"Security measures and reception at LFIGP"

As part of the enhanced security measures implemented in schools, entry screening and a limitation on gatherings have been established to ensure the safety of everyone.

Entry screening:

Academic City site:
The school gates open as soon as the first buses arrive at 7:30 AM. Students can then enter under the supervision of the security guards and school staff in the secondary school, and under the supervision of the principal in the primary school. In secondary school, students are instructed to go directly to the buses without gathering in the exit area. In primary school, children are directly escorted from the exit to the buses.
All individuals must check in at the reception after a visual check performed by the security guard before passing through the gates. At the reception, the purpose of the visit will be asked and validated, and the ID card will be exchanged for a visitor badge. Contact details, entry and exit times will be recorded in a daily log. Access to the facility beyond the reception is limited to what is strictly necessary.

Oud Metha site:
In the morning and during dismissal, parents of preschool students are allowed to accompany their children. A visual check is conducted for all families.
After the gates for preschool entry are closed, all individuals must check in at the reception following an initial visual check by the security guard. At the reception, the purpose of the visit will be asked and validated. The ID card will be exchanged for a visitor badge, and entry and exit information will be recorded in a daily log.
The number of people entering the facility is limited to what is strictly necessary.

Measures to limit gatherings:

Academic City site:
Students must enter the facility directly and, for secondary students, immediately head to the buses without gathering. Gatherings in the exit area are prohibited.

Oud Metha site:
The school gates open at 8:10 AM, and parents must wait in a designated area inside the school. Children arriving by bus are directly welcomed in the courtyard for the upper preschool classes. Parents are asked not to arrive too early and not to park on the school’s front steps. Upon dismissal, children are directly escorted from the exit to the buses.

ID card required for visitors:
For any visit, it is essential for visitors to carry an ID card to ensure strict control and efficient management of access to the facility.
