Mot de la Proviseure
Welcome to the website of the Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou (LFIGP), an institution of excellence in the heart of the United Arab Emirates, which welcomes more than 2,600 students each day in a multicultural, rigorous, and nurturing environment.
Established in Dubai for over 50 years, the LFIGP is rooted in a long tradition of openness, achievement, and the transmission of the humanist values promoted by the French education system. Our school is part of the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad) network, which guarantees a rigorous, ambitious, and truly international education.
Our students follow an academic programme that meets the standards of the French Ministry of Education, while remaining attentive to the context of our host country, the United Arab Emirates. We maintain an ongoing and respectful dialogue with the local educational authorities in Dubai, the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority).
This dual perspective enables our students to develop strong academic skills, intercultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt qualities that are invaluable in today’s world.
Our students’ results in national exams (the Diplôme National du Brevet and the Baccalauréat) are outstanding, reflecting their commitment, the quality of teaching, and the personalised support we provide. Their progression to leading universities around the globe further testifies to this excellence
However, our ambition extends beyond academic achievement. The well-being of our students lies at the heart of our mission: we strive to create a calm, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every young person can grow, thrive, and find their place. Inclusion is a core value of our school: we support each student on their journey with care and respect for their individuality
The vibrancy of school life and the range of extracurricular activities on offer sports, arts, clubs, debates, and community projects, contribute significantly to students’ balance and openness to the world. These experiences complement the academic curriculum, fostering transferable skills, team spirit, creativity, and a sense of responsibility.
The Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou is a vibrant and dynamic community where teaching, educational, administrative, and technical teams work hand in hand, in close partnership with families, to offer each student the best possible conditions for success.
I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our school, our projects, and the richness of our educational community.
