The applicant should have teaching qualifications and an experience of ESL teaching to young learners. The French International School, Lyc\u00e9e Georges Pompidou, is recruiting for an English native speaker teacher to join the staff of the Bilingual Team within the French Primary School.
English teachers in the Bilingual Section jointly teach, with a French colleague, the French curriculum to students who have been selected for the Bilingual program.
This is a full-time teaching position with responsibilities for two classes and one grade. The teacher is expected to follow the French curriculum however would deliver this curriculum to the students in English.

  • Monitoring\u00a0and\u00a0assessing\u00a0students\u00a0through\u00a0challenging,\u00a0well-organised\u00a0lessons\u00a0across\u00a0the\u00a0age\u00a0and\u00a0ability\u00a0rank\u00a0in primary school;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Experience\u00a0and\u00a0capacity\u00a0to\u00a0tutor\/supervise;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Regularly\u00a0assess\u00a0student\u00a0progress;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A\u00a0proven\u00a0track\u00a0record\u00a0of\u00a0providing\u00a0outstanding\u00a0teaching\u00a0and\u00a0learning;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Inspiring\u00a0and\u00a0developing\u00a0learners\u2019\u00a0potential;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Being\u00a0responsible\u00a0for\u00a0teaching\u00a0materials,\u00a0lesson\u00a0preparation\u00a0and\u00a0evaluation\u00a0reports;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participate\u00a0in\u00a0pedagogical\u00a0consultation\u00a0meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Candidates interested in this position need to be qualified and experienced teachers. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Experience teaching in kindergarten\u00a0would\u00a0be\u00a0particularly\u00a0beneficial.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Candidates\u00a0should\u00a0also\u00a0be\u00a0very\u00a0flexible\u00a0and\u00a0interested\u00a0in\u00a0working\u00a0with a French teaching partner. An ability to speak French would be much appreciated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
