&nbsp;<\/strong>Local<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main Duties and<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teach English Literature and Language in the International Section at secondary level (Middle and High School)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the French curriculum and the requirements of the International Section<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the development of students\u2019 linguistic, literary, analytical and intercultural skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare students for French national examinations and international section assessments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with the recommendations and regulations of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster a student-centred and communication-based approach to learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse and multicultural student body<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regularly assess students\u2019 progress and implement positive and constructive assessment practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records through the school\u2019s digital platforms (gradebook, lesson plans, reports, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate actively in departmental meetings, pedagogical coordination and school projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the creation and sharing of teaching resources and best practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Propose and develop innovative educational and cultural projects linked to literature, language and international mindedness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support and implement the school\u2019s educational policy and institutional decisions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote the pedagogical values of the French education system and the AEFE network<br>(Agence pour l&#8217;enseignement fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9tranger)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong knowledge of English Literature and Language teaching methodologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in preparing and supporting students for IGCSE English Literature examinations within an international academic environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to design engaging and academically rigorous lessons adapted to students\u2019 profiles and needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to foster critical thinking, textual analysis and effective communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong classroom management skills, combining high expectations with a supportive approach<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively within an international and multicultural environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organisational and communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent command of English (native speaker level required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of educational technology and digital learning tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creativity, initiative and commitment to pedagogical innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professionalism, adaptability, team spirit and commitment to student success<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree in English Literature, English Language, Education or a related field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teaching qualification\/certification preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience teaching English Literature and\/or English Language at secondary level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience teaching within an international school environment highly desirable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience in a French international school and\/or within the AEFE network would be an asset<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the French education system and international section expectations appreciated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working in multicultural environments strongly valued<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reminder: This document has no contractual value.
