POSITION MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
- Teach English language at secondary level (from grade 6 to 12), experienced in teaching and preparing students for IGCSES
- Prepare and deliver lessons/sessions in accordance with French programs,
- Respect the KHDA recommendations and requirements,
- Develop a communication approach to students,
- Assess regularly students’ progress and practice a positive assessment,
- Very regularly fill in the digital text book and the transcript,
- Prepare students for French national exams,
- Participate in educational consultation meetings,
- Participate in the development of educational materials,
- Be a force for proposing innovative educational projects,
- Implement the establishment’s policy and apply the decisions of the various establishment authorities,
- Defend the pedagogical and educational values implemented at the AEFE and more generally in the French system.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Design lessons as part of a program and exercises adapted to the class and students,
- Be able to transmit theoretical knowledge and give methods to acquire it,
- Be both enthusiastic and organized in the courses,
- Be able to lead a class by combining flexibility and firmness,
- Know how to work in a team,
- A good experience of digital educational uses (TUIC),
- Good presentation and perfect command of the French language required.
- A spirit of innovation in the educational and didactic fields,
- Dynamism, keen interest in educational matters, sense of collective interest, team spirit, open- mindedness.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCES :
- BA in English language education – minimum
- Teaching experience required (College and high school),
- Experience in a French high school abroad desirable,
- Knowledge of the education system and French National Education programs desirable,
French language is a plus.
