For several years now, LFIGP has been passionately involved in ambitious ecological and artistic projects. Following \"La Nature en Spectacle\" in 2023 and \"The World's Largest Painting\" in 2024, exhibited in France, participating in Junk Kouture became a natural continuation of this beautiful adventure combining environmental awareness and creativity.\nIn 2023\/2024, Ms. Abiad and Ms. Balieu, along with a group of students, took part in the school\u2019s first-ever participation in Junk Kouture. The experience is being renewed in 2024\/2025 with Ms. Barhoumi joining the team.
Ce concours mondial invite les jeunes talents \u00e0 transformer des mat\u00e9riaux recycl\u00e9s en cr\u00e9ations de haute couture, sensibilisant les \u00e9l\u00e8ves aux enjeux environnementaux tout en d\u00e9veloppant leur cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et leur esprit d\u2019innovation.\u00a0 Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves se retrouvent chaque mercredi apr\u00e8s-midi, avec des s\u00e9ances prolong\u00e9es pour les plus motiv\u00e9s. Le concours favorise le travail en \u00e9quipe, les \u00e9changes inspirants avec des professionnels de la mode et des artistes, ainsi que des rencontres privil\u00e9gi\u00e9es avec des repr\u00e9sentants de l\u2019ESMOD Dubai, institut renomm\u00e9. Chaque ann\u00e9e, le projet mobilise un effectif de 4 \u00e0 5 cr\u00e9ations (individuelles ou en bin\u00f4mes).<\/p>

The 2024 edition ended on a high note with the presentation of \u201cRag to Revolution\u201d in Dublin on March 3 and 4. Alongside finalists from the UAE, Paris, Canada, New York, Milan, and Ireland, our students proudly represented LFIGP.\n Although we didn\u2019t reach the podium, the experience was filled with immense pride and unforgettable memories.<\/p>

Looking Ahead to 2025: A New Generation of Talent<\/strong><\/h3>

The 2025 cohort is already showing great promise with three bold projects: The Denim Darling,<\/strong>, Urban Harmony,<\/strong> and and Loulou Lagouna.<\/strong>. L\u2019un de ces projets atteindra-t-il la finale ? Le suspense reste entier, mais la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et l\u2019engagement des \u00e9l\u00e8ves promettent d\u00e9j\u00e0 des r\u00e9alisations inspirantes. Bravo \u00e0 eux pour cette \u00e9nergie d\u00e9bordante !<\/p>

Junk Kouture is far more than just a fashion competition \u2014 it's a movement that inspires young people to take positive action for their ecological future while unleashing their imaginations.\n A true springboard toward a more responsible and creative world!<\/p>
